Blogspot rating widget with thumb up and thumb down buttons
Thumbs Rating Widget is a tool that allows readers to vote for your blogger posts. Everyone who reads an entry will be able to rate it by clickick a "Thumb Up" or "Thumb Down" button. Thanks to that you will know what your visitors thinks about your content. This plugin also makes your blog more attractive and give it more professional look. To install thumb rating widget on blogspot blog, set it's position and color and simply click "Add to Blogger" button:

If you use a custom Blogger template, it may happen that the widget will not be able to locate the place where it should be displayed and it will not work properly. If this happens, then install the widget manually. To do this, click above on Show Widget Code (bottom right corner of the settings block) and copy the code that will be displayed. Next go to your Blogger dashboard and go to page "Theme". Click "Edit HTML" button, then click anywhere inside the content area and press "ctrl" + "F" keys. In the search box that appears at the top-right corner of content area, put text: <data:post.body/> and press "enter" on your keyboard. You will find line "<data:post.body/>" in your blog template. Below that line paste the "Widget Code" you copied. Repeat this step and paste the widget code below each of "<data:post.body/>" string in your blogger template. Next click "Save theme" button and that's all - now the thumb rating widget should appear below each of your blogger posts.

ReplyDeleteYour mobile template is probably constructed in a non-standard way and the widget can't locate where it should appear. Add the widget code manually to the post loop in your blog template, then it should work.
ReplyDeleteI see that you have added a widget to the template and it works fine on individual post pages. If you want it to also be displayed on index pages (for example under the "Read more" button), copy the "Widget code" from above settings block, then go to your blogger template editor, find something like:

and paste the widget code just below it.

ReplyDeleteThis widget is a real find, as it's the only one I know of that can excellently replace the Facebook button.
Too bad that when clicking on the buttons the number 1 appears but then disappears, in other words, it doesn't work.
Curiously, the same thing happens with the comment rating system.

DeleteUnfortunately, we had problems with hosting the widgets and hence the difficulties. Now, however, the thumb rating widget has been fixed and works properly, even better than the previous one, because it has been improved and modernized. Reinstall it on the blog and everything should work fine. The comment rating widget will also be fixed soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
